Our EPoS system from Intelligent Retail

The EPos software we use is a multichannel system that allows us to link up our stock control, reporting, customer database, product information and more, into one central system that runs our shop in Abergavenny and our eCommerce website.

The system is called Connect and it is provided by Intelligent Retail - an award winning EPoS company providing retail solutions designed for independent retailers. The software helps retailers to centralise their stock management process for multiple channels including Amazon, eBay, eCommerce websites and tills in physical shops. Saving them time and allowing them to have one stock control system feeding multiple retail channels.

Built from the ground up for retailers, the architecture of the software is dedicated to the job. Not only a simply to use till system it also has the online orders downloaded straight to a till license (or the back office license) where you can spot them and process them by picking, packing and despatching the orders as you go. Your documents are printed from the orders and send out with the package to the customers. Stock is adjusted automatically for the shop and the website so you can concentrate on running your business rather than worrying about manually updating separate channels.

The reporting and features in Connect provide you with valuable tools to be able to analyse your stock and help you make sure you have the right products at the right time. Discover your best selling products or departments and use the smart purchase ordering function to efficiently generate orders to replenish stock to the level you require. Once the goods are delivered from your supplier, you can then goods in all the items in one go with Connect - simple.

The EPoS system allows you to send your products to other integrated retail channels and saves you the time of logging into each channel separately. It is easy to then drag and drop the products into your eCommerce website channel or link them to your Amazon or eBay channel stock tree. You can see all your channel stock trees in one place. As the online marketplace or website orders are downloaded to Connect the stock quantity is automatically updated so your stock is kept up to date.
